The Bel Cheese Academy day with Jean-Christophe Novelli
Earlier this year, the Bel Cheese Academy launched a competition offering chefs in cost sector catering, restaurants, hotels and pubs across the UK, the exclusive chance to spend a day with Michelin and 5AA Rosette award-winning French Chef Jean-Christophe Novelli at the Bel Cheese Academy.
On Tuesday 29 September, the five lucky winners tested their skills in the presence of the nation’s favourite chef.
Jean-Christophe Novelli showed the winners how versatile the Bel range of cheeses can be and educated them on how to creatively and commercially get the best from the range.
Jean-Christophe comments, “Cheese is so incredibly diverse, that I am never bored by it as an ingredient and I never tire of finding new ways to include it in my cooking. It always gives a dish greater substance and depth.”
